An unusual explorer named Gum (Richard Griffiths) and his kindly niece (Emilia Fox) adopt three orphans -- Pauline (Emma Watson), Petrova (Yasmin Paige) and Posy (Lucy Boynton) -- and raise them as sisters in 1930s London. But the girls must fend for themselves when Gum doesn't return from one of his adventures. Together, they nurture their passions for acting, aviation and ballet in this charming TV adaptation of Noel Streatfield's novel.
Very nice movie, better than I expected. Despite the name, the story is not really about ballet, but about unselfishness and overcoming adversity. A sweet film, but not sappy. The only fault I found with it was not being able to hear or catch all the dialogue. Captions would have been very helpful.

i loved loved loved this movie, everything about it! The story is so beutiful. The girls really taught me a lesson. Pauline has inspired me. I love the 30s atmposphere. I love paulines preformances as Alice in Wonderland, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and Cinderella. Adorable movie. Will definatly rent it again.

As the children of a wizard (David DeLuise), the siblings have big shoes to fill, but only one of them will still have the powers when they're grown. Until then, they delight in practicing their supernatural skills. What kid wouldn't? Maria Canals-Barrera and Jennifer Stone co-star.
Bored, occasionally high and always highly ineffective Vermont state troopers Mac (Steve Lemme), Thorny (Jay Chandrasekhar, who also directed), Foster (Paul Soter) and Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske) must prove their worth to Governor Jessman (Lynda Carter) -- or lose their jobs. After stumbling on a drug smuggling ring, they plan to make a high-profile bust, but the rival police of Earlville are out to steal the glory in this irreverent comedy.
I ordered this based on the numerous positive reviews but have to say.... dumb doesn't begin to describe this movie. Some funny scenes but in general I can't recommend it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE listen up meow...dont judge it on the first viewing must watch a couple of times to understand how amazing it can be. great characters. snoze berries taste like snozes berries lol i could say lines from this movie all day.
With a modern sensibility and a plot from age-old English folklore, the first season of this groundbreaking BBC series follows Robin of Locksley (Jonas Armstrong) as he returns from the Crusades to claim his family estate. With the land under the thumb of the ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen) and his sadistic deputy (Richard Armitage), Robin becomes history's greatest vigilante. Lucy Griffiths stars as Robin's true love, Maid Marian.
With new writers to save the day, this season finally starts stepping away from the "good guy, bad guy" formula that the first two seasons overused. New characters are introduced, plot twists are added along with more action, comedy and character development. Prince John is by far the best addition to the series, but the rest of the story doesn't fall by comparison. The other new characters fill in the gaping holes left from season two a lot better than I expected. This season could have been a complete mess, but even though the story branches out in different directions, it all comes together in the end. Just give it a chance and you'll understand what I mean. I highly recommend this season for all of the fans who were frustrated at the end of season two. The new writing staff really makes a difference. You'll see.

Throughout the entire series Gisbourne has been hinted at having a conscience. Its brought out more in the later half of this final season. True some of the new characters werent pleasing to get to know, even in their brief appearances, it was decently written. I was just hoping that there would be more to it that the way the series got ended. Is there even a season 4 to look forward to, information that I havent been able to locate. Yet.

The new season of Robin Hood has turned about to be a big disappointment. While I was looking forward to it, I think it is not as good as any of the other two season. The two new female characters are just plain annoying. They tried to replace Djaq and Marian with Kate and I think that was a big failure. Gisbourne's sister, Isabella, I cannot stand. They would have been better to stop the show at the end of season two. The only real good thing about season three is the long-awaited Toby Stephens as Prince John. He adds much to the show and he is the only reason I'm continuing to watch the show. The show has lost a lot, when Djaq, Will, and Marian left the show. It is definitely not as good as it used to be.
